Save our Mother Earth

Imagine your loving and caring mother. She takes care of you in every aspect.  Right from childhood, she makes sure that you get what you need. If someone hurts you, she feels bad. Similarly, earth is like our mother and all natural resources are her children. She has taken good care of trees, water, air and land. She has even allowed human beings to use them for their good. But, human beings have misused earth resources.

Mother earth has been very tolerative till now. But if we continue to inflict same damage on her children, she is not going to be quiet. She is going to respond in the form of earthquake, landslides, pollution, erosion and many others. And when she responds, it is going to impact all human beings badly.

Green Education

As we accumulate different kinds of waste everyday, we are polluting our environment. Pollution can be categorized into 3 categories :

1. Air pollution :
   1. Sources : burning of fuel, smoking, release of toxic gases from industries and others
2. Water pollution :
   1. Sources : dumping of industrial wastes into water, oil spills, spraying insecticides, washing clothes, utensils near rivers and others
3. Soil pollution :
   1. Sources : release of industrial waste, mining and deforestation

Practise 3 Magical R’s : Reduce. Reuse. Recycle and Save the Earth

Good news is we can save our earth easily by practicing 3 R’s : Reduce. Reuse and Recycle. What it takes is a little awareness and responsibility from every human being. Below video shows simple ideas to practice 3 R’s.
